I believe we are born to shine. We are meant to be profoundly connected to our authentic selves, embracing that connection at every moment and projecting it into the Universe as a celebration of who we are.

Here are the important parts of my personal journey:
Software Engineer
I've been a software engineer for over 25 years, including 17 years at Google. My experience as a software engineer has allowed me to apply structure and logic to understanding the mind. Often, we view our minds as extremely complex or confusing systems. However, seeing the mind as a set of programs, similar to computer programs, and applying an engineering approach allows us to address our challenges effectively.
Teaching Mind-bending workshops
For over 10 years, I have developed and facilitated mind-bending workshops for thousands of high-tech professionals. This experience, coupled with feedback from participants, has allowed me to test and refine the concepts and tools in simple and effective ways. Working with many people on a variety of challenges has given me broad experience in areas ranging from effectiveness and work-life balance to relationships and parenting.
Family
My wife, Masha, is my home; she is the glue that makes my life work. I absolutely adore my son Levi and my daughter Eliana, who are now young adults. My children are my biggest teachers in life. I have learned more about myself through interacting with them than from anything else. There have been many projections—wanting my kids to express something important to me—that I had to recognize and deal with as a parent. Accepting our children as their own sovereign people is a very transformative experience.
Neuro-LINGUISTIC PROGRAMMING (NLP)
As part of my passion for understanding how our minds operate, I became a Master NLP and Hypnosis Practitioner from the NLP Center of New York. NLP explores the connection between neurological processes, language, and behavioral patterns, with the intention of changing them to achieve specific goals in life. My NLP training allows me to meet people where they are, understand their perspectives, and offer them different ways of looking at things.
WORKING WITH CHILDREN
After becoming a parent, I started teaching groups of children, covering topics from math and logic to programming and emotional intelligence. I learned how to be fun and engaging, present concepts in simple yet exciting ways, and be in the other person's world. Interacting with young people continues to be one of my favorite activities.
Landmark forum
The Landmark Forum by Landmark Worldwide was my first experience that fascinated me with the workings of the mind. It made me realize that I am a product of my past decisions and that owning these decisions creates new possibilities for my future.
psychedelics
Exposure to psychedelics has allowed me to see beyond the ego and the rational mind. It has helped me appreciate the world in a different way. I am now more attuned to my heart and intuition and understand that there is more than meets the eye.
body awareness
Vipassana meditation and Awareness Through Body training have taught me to listen to my body in a new way. I pay close attention to the sensations that arise as a result of emotions or subconscious processes. I have learned to listen to my body and use it as a compass for my heart and mind.
self-expression
Exploring improv and clown work has helped me discover new levels of vulnerability, spontaneity, fun, and laughter. It enables me to take more risks and act despite discomfort or fear. It also allows me to connect with my emotions and find new ways of expressing and dealing with them.
Creative expression is also important to me, I play a number of musical instruments (chromatic accordion, violin, piano, guitar). I compose, write children stories and enjoy digital painting.
It's not what you think
I am excited to introduce my new series, “It’s Not What You Think.” For years, I've kept a journal where I recorded my insights about the workings of my mind, emotions, and behaviors. This animated series of short 2-4 minute videos is based on these insights. The intention behind this series is to offer a fresh perspective on the things we usually take for granted.
