About

I believe in the power of validation. When we truly accept ourselves and our experiences, something healing opens for us. In order to truly accept yourself you need to see the perfect design you already are.
Engineer
I've been a software engineer for more than thirty years, including seventeen at Google. That experience lets me apply structure and logic to the mind. The mind often seems complex and confusing, but seeing it as a set of simple algorithms gives clarity. The mind stops being a mystery to fix and starts being a system you can read.
Facilitator
For over fifteen years I've developed and facilitated mind-engineering workshops for thousands of high-tech professionals. I've also led group classes for children on emotional intelligence and nonviolent communication, and for parents on effective, peaceful parenting. I continue to run weekly emotional-intelligence discussions for young adults, and soft-skills sessions for early-career IT professionals. Once a year I travel to Kyrgyzstan as the main speaker at a retreat for mothers and teachers on how to discover yourself in order to shape the next generation.

Method
I love group work. In a group we get to see and appreciate each other's humanity and courage; we resonate with each other's challenges and feel less alone in them. I'm a Master NLP and Hypnosis Practitioner (NLP Center of New York). My background in body-awareness practice and vipassana meditation taught me to trust the body and intuition. Improv and clown work taught me the power of vulnerability and staying present. Working with children taught me how to meet people where they are, without judgment.
Self-expression
I value self-expression — through dance, music, art, and writing. There are many languages and many worlds available to us when we keep the mind open and flexible. It's also where I keep finding new things to bring back into the work.
